Golf Insurance Claims

For a golf insurance claim, you will need to submit your claim within 30 days of the loss.

What to do

If you have a claim for:

  • A loss due to theft, burglary or robbery, report it to the golf club and police within 24 hours. Keep a copy of the police report.
  • Damaged items, an on-site survey may be required. Do not dispose of any damaged items unless we have agreed in writing for you to do so.

How to make a claim

Notify your agent or broker immediately, or call our hotline at 6419 3000.

Submit the completed claim form to us as soon as possible. You should send us all relevant supporting documents within 30 days of the loss.

Third-party legal liability

  • Confirmation letter from the golf club certifying that the accident occurred while you were playing or practising on the golf course.
  • Details of the third party including name, identification number, telephone number, and address, if available.
  • The name, contact number and address of any witnesses.
  • Police report, if any.
  • All relevant writs, summons, correspondence and documents from any third party.


Note: Do not admit liability, negotiate or make any settlement with any third party without our prior written consent.

 

Damaged or lost golf equipment and personal effects

  • Confirmation letter from the golf club certifying that the loss occurred there.
  • Original purchase receipts of the items lost or damaged.
  • An estimate of repair costs.
  • Police report, if the loss involved a theft, burglary or robbery.

 

Hole-in-one

  • Copy of hole-in-one certificate issued by the golf club.
  • The original payment receipt for one treat of hospitality, which is within 30 days of the hole-in-one.

 

Personal accident

  • Confirmation letter from the golf club certifying that the accident occurred while you were there.
  • Medical reports where applicable.

Prepare the relevant supporting documents for your claim. We may contact you for additional documents and information, if those are required.

What to expect

We process most straightforward golf insurance claims within 10 business days if they are submitted with complete documentation. It may take longer to process a claim if we require additional information or documents from you.

Claim status

We will keep you updated on your claim by email or mail. You can also call our hotline to check on your claim.  If your claim is accepted, you will receive a settlement cheque by mail.
