One price for all HDB and Condominium residential units

AIG’s fixed premium means you pay the same affordable price regardless of the size of your home. Even when you upsize your home in the future, your premium remains the same. With AIG's Homes Essential plan, you can get coverage of up to S$691,650 for just S$6.31 per month.

Optional coverage add-ons for landlords and tenants (subject to payment of additional premium)

  • Landlord Liability (covers up to S$400,000 for accidental bodily injury or damage to property during tenancy period)

  • Tenant Liability (covers up to S$100,000 for legal liability to landlord)

Note: 1 Household Contents refer to your interior decorations, fixtures and fittings installed and not provided by HDB or your condominium’s developer. Your furniture, furnishings, clothing and personal effects belonging to you or your Immediate Family or Domestic Worker permanently residing with you are covered. However, cash and currency notes are excluded from cover. 2 Building refers to your residence and fixtures and fittings provided by HDB or your condominium’s developer, based on current standards and specifications as defined by HDB or MCST. The common areas, fixtures and fittings added by you or the previous owner of the building, interior decorations, household furniture and fittings are excluded. The sum insured for building is dependent on the flat type and will vary from S$19,500 per annum for a one-room flat to S$100,000 per annum for an executive apartment. Details are specified in the policy terms and conditions.

Your HDB fire or MCST insurance likely only pays for the cost of restoring fire-damaged internal structures, fixtures and areas built by HDB or your condominium developer. It may not cover any of your belongings or renovations, or other perils like damage caused by burst pipes, or theft.

Plumber*

Covers you for any accidental clog or choke of a water supply system, drainage system or leaking water pipe(s) within your flat.

 

Emergency Electrical Assistance*

Covers your home against power failure, circuit overload or malfunction of wall switch.

 

Pest Control*

We will arrange for inspection and provide emergency measures to address infestation of bees, termites and/or rats in your home.

 

Emergency Air Conditioner Repair*

Covers air conditioners in your home that are non-operational as a result of mechanical malfunction of the compressor motor or fan, gas or water leak.
